Nuclear Science and Engineering Institute
celebrates 45th Anniversary
We at the Nuclear Science and Engineering Institute (NSEI) want to invite you to join us in the celebration of our 45th Anniversary of service to the state and the nation. This year marks the 45th Anniversary of the first nuclear engineering degree awarded at the University of Missouri. We hope you will take this opportunity to visit with our faculty, staff, students, other alumni, and friends of NSEI during our 45th Anniversary Reception on April 24th, from 6-8P.M. at the Reynolds Alumni Center on the Columbia campus. There is a parking garage directly across the street. Here is a link to our website for information on the event:
We will be serving hors d'oeurves and drinks. A cash bar will be available. Dress code will be semi-formal/business casual.
The University of Missouri is hosting the Missouri Energy Summit on the Columbia campus the 22nd & 23rd. Two of the featured speakers at the event will be T. Boone Pickens (founder and chairman of BP Capital Management, which manages one of the nation's most successful energy-oriented investment funds) and Dr. Dale Klein (Chairman, Nuclear Regulatory Commission).
